The Datalogic ELF is another of Datalogics products that laps the field. This new ergonomic, compact and robust unit runs Windows Mobile 6/5 or 6.0 and has all the extras. Blue Tooth, CCX V4, Summit Radio, 2D Imager, Green Spot, Accelerometer, 3 Megapixel Autofocus camera with Flash, and many other goodies. Our video below shows an overview of the unit.
The unit has the option of 2D Imager or 1D high perfomance laser. A powerful 624 MHZ processor, with 256 MB RAM/256 MB Flash, User Accesssible Micro SD memory slot, UMTS HSDPA mobile radio for voice and data round out the major features.
All these options and a great SDK from Datalogic and tools for integrating voice, pictures, and video to create or enhance existing mobility software solutions. In a nutshell, the ELF is a simple device to both depoloy and maintain. Most of these units are made in Italy, making them government and GSA ready. All this at a pricepoint under $1995, depending on options.
